New England Institute of Technology

As the leader in technical career education in Southeastern New England, New England Tech is a private, non-profit technical college offering Associate in Science, Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in more than 35 programs. Each one has been thoughtfully designed with input from both educators and industry experts.

The focus at New England Tech is to give each student a solid balance: a base of analytical skills with hands-on training. Most of our Associate in Science Degree programs can be completed in as little as 18 months and our Bachelor of Science Degree programs in as little as 3 years. Today, enrollment has grown to 3,400 students.

New England Institute of Technology is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education.

The Center for Technology and Industry at New England Institute of Technology was established to assist the business community with the technical training and retraining needs of its employees and clients. The Center’s mission is to provide customized, technical workforce development services and training. More than 2,000 individuals participate annually in training offered by The Center for Technology and Industry at NEIT.

The college has also been a leader in the development and delivery of sustainable energy programs. The college has installed several renewable energy systems, including a 156 foot wind turbine, 135 solar panels on the roof of the Access Road building that houses its Electrical Technology program and solar hot water systems for use in the Heating Technology program.

By making a donation to CarbonFund, New England Institute of Technology is offsetting 125 metric tons of carbon dioxide. This is the equivalent emissions from 5,208 propane bbq cylinders, 14,188 gallons of gasoline consumed, or the carbon sequestered by 3,205 tree seedlings grown for 10 years.
