About Products

Rather than start a database of our own – a costly and time-consuming endeavor – the RIGBC would like to call attention to some organizations already reviewing the myriad of “green” products available in the marketplace.

By listing these publicly available databases, the RI Green Building Council does not necessarily endorse any product or service provider listed. The RIGBC recommends green building products and service providers that meet certain qualifying criteria, so as to avoid consumer “green-washing”, meaning that the product has been tested or verified in some manner.

The Products section will be redesigned to match the Service Providers section as funds become available. To help support the website, or to be listed here, contact us!

Featured Products and Systems Databases

These online databases are Featured because they do a particularly good job vetting and reviewing products to ensure that they meet green criteria.
